Cuivre River Electric Cooperative President/CEO Doug Tracy was recently appointed as a district representative to the 2023-24 Legislative and Government Relations Committee of the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives (AMEC), Jefferson City. AMEC is the service organization of the state's 47 electric cooperatives, including CREC, which serve more than 580,000 businesses and homes.

Tracy, who has been with CREC for 20 years, will be responsible for activities concerned with developing working relationships with state legislators, the Missouri congressional delegates, and government agencies.
