The Cuivre River Electric Community Trust Board met in March and awarded $22,705 in grants funded through Operation Round Up. Health grants were awarded to 13 individuals/families from Bowling Green, Marthasville, O’Fallon, St. Charles, and Warrenton, including support for seven developmentally disabled individuals to attend Camp Wonderland this summer. Other health-related grants helped a group home replace a washing machine and support a developmentally disabled gentleman with personal assistance.

Community organizations that received grants included:
New Melle Sports and Recreation — $5,000 to help fund lighting for the organization's playing fields.
Ratchet Rockers Robotics — $2,500 to support the repair of the organization’s competition and training field.
• Trinity Lutheran School — $2,500 to help the school with security measures for their facilities.

We are grateful to our members who participate in the Operation Round Up program! Your generous support helps us to help those in need in the communities we serve.
