Average Service Availability Index
To evaluate system performance, the electric utility industry uses the ASAI (Average Service Availability Index) percentage. While the calculation itself is complex, it incorporates several key reliability indices. Together, these metrics show that CREC maintains an average availability of 99.97%, demonstrating the Cooperative’s exceptional reliability and ensuring that our members receive dependable power nearly 100% of the time.
