Who can apply:
• Local units of government
• Community and economic development departments
• Park departments
• Public schools
• Not-for-profit organizations such as historic, downtown and neighborhood associations
 

Projects which show a significant impact on the community will be given a higher priority. 

A tree planting plan must be submitted with your application. This plan can be the same one submitted to other tree planting programs. Be sure that planted trees are clear of utility lines. Include a map or drawing showing planting locations, what type of tree is to be planted and location of utility lines. Payment will be made upon approval of the planting project by an authorized person as designated by Central Electric.

Central Electric and our member cooperatives are proud to be partners in beautifying communities through the planting of trees. Fill out the application form and submit it along with your tree planting plan. Applications are received and qualifying projects are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis while funding is available. Approved projects must be completed by December 31 of the calendar year in which the grant is awarded.
