Current Times Opt Out

When you become a member of Cuivre River Electric Cooperative, you are automatically added to our mailing list for the co-op’s free monthly news magazine, Rural Missouri/Current Times. A paper copy of the publication is mailed to your home or business each month.

A digital version of the news magazine is also available on the co-op website or by using the link in our monthly e-newsletter, CREC Connections.

If you would prefer to read the publication online, you now have the option of unsubscribing yourself from the paper copy mailing list through the website’s online member portal. Here’s how:

Member Portal:

Portal Opt Out 1

After you log into the member portal, click on “My Account” dropdown menu and select “Account Profile.”

MyCuivre App:

To make this change using the MyCuivre app, once logged in, select “My Account” then “Account Profile.” The next screen will include the same toggle button (under your email address) to turn on or turn off the option to receive a paper copy of Rural Missouri/Current Times.

If you decide later to resubscribe to the publication, sign back into your account and toggle the switch back on. It may take a month for your choice to take effect. A new mailing list is pulled from CREC’s database each month to capture any new members (and reflect those who have unsubscribed) and sent to the printer/mailer who handles the distribution of the publication.

If you already contacted CREC in the past to remove yourself from the paper copy mailing list, you should not have to unsubscribe.
