Your connection to comfort
Any consumer will find comfort in a business that uses the motto “when quality and experience matter.”
That warm and comfy feeling is appropriate for what you get when dealing with Brush’s Heating and Cooling of Troy, a Co-op Connections Card partner since Cuivre River Electric Cooperative introduced the discount program in 2008.
“We’re a pretty diverse business, installing heating and cooling systems in everything from mobile homes to schools,” said Jason Brush, owner.
Brush has worked in the heating and cooling industry since 1990. After 13 years of honing his trade, he went out on his own in 2003.
Residentially, Brush’s covers Lincoln, St. Charles, St. Louis and surrounding counties, but the bulk of the company’s residential business is in Lincoln County. Commercially, the company is spread out a bit more. “We recently completed a job in Kahoka, Mo., up near the Iowa border,” Brush said.
“Designing a heating and cooling system for new construction takes lots of advanced planning,” said Brush. Probably the most important piece of the heating and cooling puzzle, according to Brush is to conduct a load calculation to determine the proper size of system needed. A computer program takes care of the calculations.
Years ago, many systems were installed just based on the square footage of the house which often led to questions about comfort levels from the occupants.
Brush also takes time to educate customers on potential utility rebates (including those offered by Cuivre River Electric) that are available to help cut installation costs.
Brush’s features Trane furnaces and air conditioners, plus ClimateMaster geothermal systems. They also service most makes and models of heating and cooling systems.
