eBill Payment (Automatic Payment Plan)
Cuivre River Electric Cooperative offers our members the convenience of a monthly draft, eBill Automatic Payment Plan, either from their checking account or credit card. It's a free, convenient way to pay your monthly electric bill. When you sign up for eBill Automatic Payment Plan, Cuivre River Electric Cooperative will automatically draft your checking account or credit card, whichever you prefer, for the amount of your monthly electric bill.
You'll still receive monthly statements showing kilowatt-hour usage and the amount due, but with the eBill Automatic Payment Plan, you won't have to write a check - ever! And your payments will be made on time, every time.
You can enroll in the eBill Automatic Payment Plan by one of two methods. Paper or electronic registration is available.
Paper: You may print out an official eBill Authorization Form, fill in the required information, sign the authorization form and mail, or deliver, the eBill Authorization Form to a Cuivre River Electric Cooperative office. Electronic: You may select the eBill Automatic Payment Plan link below to transfer to our secure online payment processing site. A detailed guide to using the eBill Automatic Payment Plan link is provided just below the link. This tutorial gives you an opportunity to view the step by step instructions before you actually use the eBill Automatic Payment Plan.
eBill Payment - First Time Step By Step Instructions
First time eBill Payment user? Learn more about using the eBill Payment system here! The following instructions are for the Cuivre River Electric Cooperative eBill Payment system. These step by step instructions should be reviewed before your initial attempt to use the eBill Payment feature on the CREC website. The instructions listed below include pictures of each page you will encounter during your eBill Payment experience.
eBill Payment Home Page. This is the first page in the eBill Payment process. First time users will want to select the "I'm A New User" option. Then select the grey Continue button located directly below the three options.
eBill Payment Member Log In Page. This is the second page in the eBill Payment process. First time users will have to enter their Cuivre River Electric Cooperative Member Number (ONLY the digits up to the dash) which is located on your electric bill. Choose and enter a four digit PIN number. Reenter your four digit PIN number in the Confirm Pin location. Create a personal safety question in the first yellow highlighted box. Enter a one word answer to your personal safety question in the white box provided. Enter your Email Address in the second yellow highlighted box. Reenter your Email Address in the third yellow highlighted box. Then select the grey Continue button located directly below these input boxes.
eBill Payment Bill Presentment Confirmation Page. This is the third page in the eBill Payment process. Your name and CREC Account number will be displayed below the Bill Presentment. You will need to reenter your Email Address in the white box. Then select the grey Continue button located directly below the input box.
eBill Payment New Registration Payment Method Page. This is the fourth page in the eBill Payment process. Your name, CREC Account number and your Email Address will be displayed above the New Registration - Payment Method title. Users will have the opportunity to select their method of payment. Please select either the "Pay from my bank account" or "Pay with a credit card" option. Once you have selected your preferred method of payment select the grey Continue button located directly below these options.
eBill Payment New Registration Credit Card Information Page. This is the fifth page in the eBill Payment process. The page shown below is the New Registration-Credit Card Information page. Select the Credit Card Type from the drop down box. Enter your Credit Card Number in the white box provided. Select the Expiration Date (Month and Year) from the drop down boxes. Enter your Street Address (Must be the billing address of the credit card being used for the eBill Payment ) in the white box provided. Enter your Zip Code (Must be the zip code of the billing address for the credit card being used for the eBill Payment) in the white box provided. Please review your credit card information and confirm the information you entered is accurate. If the information is correct you may now select the grey Continue button located directly below these input boxes to continue.
eBill Payment Account Information Confirmation Page. This is the sixth page in the eBill Payment process. The page shown below is the New Registration-Credit Card Information Verification page. Review the information on this page and select the grey Yes, Please Register My Credit Card button located directly below your Credit Card information to continue.
eBill Payment Method Verification Page. This is the seventh page in the eBill Payment process. The page shown below verifies your eBill Payment Registration and prompts you to select the grey Back To MAIN Options button to continue the eBill Payment process.
eBill Payment Member Account Payment Selection Page. This is the eight page in the eBill Payment process. The page shown below gives you the option of selecting your method of eBill Payment . Once you have selected your choice from the selection just select the grey Next button to continue the eBill Payment process.

With the Cuivre River Electric Cooperative eBill Payment Automatic Payment Plan, you'll never have to remember to pay your bill. And since you'll receive a monthly statement, you can easily keep track of what was drafted out of your account. You won't have to write a check or pay for a stamp or remember to take the envelope to the mail box. With everything else there is to worry about, isn't it nice to have one thing you can cross off your list?
The back of your CREC Electric Bill contains the eBill Payment Authorization Form. Just fill in your information and return it to one of our three offices, or mail it to:
