We hope you never need to report an outage, but want to make sure you know the best methods to contact us if you're in the dark.
(1) Report your outage by calling any Cuivre River phone number, then selecting Menu Item #1. Cuivre River numbers include:
(800) 392-3709, (636) 528-8261, (636) 695-4700 and (636) 695-4800
Be prepared to provide your phone number, member account number or meter number through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.
Telephone Tip: Plan ahead. Call us at your convenience to make sure we have correct phone number(s) on file. If your number is registered with your account, the IVR will recognize and match it to your name and location. This can help us identify the location more quickly and determine how many members may be affected.
(2) Report your outage with MyCuivreApp for smart phone and mobile devices. If you're already using MyCuivreApp for fast, secure account information, outage reporting features are already on your mobile device. Just log in and scroll across the tool bar to the outage icon. Simply report the outage, or enter a call-back number to receive a confirmation message when power is restored. Add comments if you have a specific hazard or problem to report. View the outage map at your fingertips to track storm restoration.
Smart Phone Storm Readiness Tip: The app is connected to your secure account information. To protect your security, you must first set up a User ID and Password through our web site e-Bill Payment Member Portal. At your convenience, set up your User ID and Password before a storm. You will need the User ID and Password to download MyCuivreApp through iTunes or Google Play.
The outage viewer and email message option remain on www.cuivre.com. Unlike MyCuivreApp and IVR outage reports, email reports are not monitored 24 hours a day.
