Heat Pump Rebate Program

$750/Ton: Ground source heat pumps (GSHPs) work by moving heat from the earth into your home in winter, and from your home into the earth in summer. The result: consistent year-round comfort, impressive energy savings, and the added benefits of safety and long-term reliability. Members who install qualified systems can receive $750/Ton from Cuivre River. Members who replace an existing GSHP with a qualified system may be eligible for a $150/Ton rebate.

$150/Ton: Rebates are also available for qualified dual fuel air source heat pump systems. Like GSHPs, air source heat pump technology moves rather than creates heat to provide comfort for you and your family. The difference: air source systems take heat from the air instead of the ground. In very cold weather, air source systems rely on a backup heat source. In order to help lighten the load on the electric grid, qualified systems receive $150/Ton rebate when coupled with either a propane or natural gas backup system creating a highly efficient dual fuel heat pump system.

Additional rebate qualifications apply to all of these heat pump systems. Clink on the links below to open rebate applications and qualification documents.
