Tree Line USA
The Arbor Day Foundation has named Cuivre River Electric Cooperative a Tree Line USA Utility for the 8th consecutive year.
To achieve the designation, Cuivre River continues to meet three core criteria: providing a quality tree care program, annual worker training in quality tree care practices, and a public education and tree planting program.
"Tree Line USA utilities deserve recognition for their commitment to providing safe, efficient service while helping protect and preserve community trees," says John Rosenow, Chief Executive of the Arbor Day Foundation.
A key objective of the Tree Line USA program is to replace the line-clearance practice of topping trees with natural pruning. This practice allows trees to retain more of their natural form and supports tree health.
Tree Line USA is sponsored by the Arbor Day Foundation in cooperation with the National Association of State Foresters.
