Butch Wax & The Hollywoods To Perform For CREC Members
Butch Wax & The Hollywoods will perform two shows for Cuivre River members attending the August 12th Annual Meeting at the Family Arena, St. Charles. A 6:30 p.m. early show will precede the business meeting; a second performance will follow the meeting and attendance prizes at about 8 p.m., according to Kevin Hurd, Manager of Member Services.
The band is celebrating its 26th year, and has been a frequent Cuivre River Annual Meeting favorite. The nine-member group features two keyboard players, two female singers, horns, and a rhythm section that is, "famous, funky, soulful and fun — and second to none."
The show includes Oldies, Motown classics, and the very best of the 50s, 60s, & 70s. Butch Wax & The Hollywoods are regular performers at local concerts and festivals, and performs for "sold out" crowds throughout the United States.
