Absentee Voting For Directors Opens July 1st, 2014.Absentee Voting For Directors Now Open

Members may begin voting absentee for director candidates July 1. "This is a great option for members who want to make certain they vote, but may not be able to attend the August 8 meeting," says Kevin Hurd, Manager of Member Services. To vote absentee: (1) visit a Cuivre River office July 1 - Aug. 7 to vote in person or get a voting kit, or (2) request a voting kit by Aug. 1 for mail delivery. Cuivre River Electric Annual Meeting Supplement 2014.Meet The Director Candidates

The 2014 ballot includes the names of candidates in each of four districts. You are eligible to choose one candidate for each district. Instructions for marking your ballot are stated on the ballot. If you attend the August 8 meeting at the Family Arena in St. Charles, bring the registration card on the front cover of this edition of the Current Times to obtain your ballot. Doors open at 4:00 p.m. If you think you will not be able to attend the meeting you may vote absentee. Provide proof of membership to obtain a ballot at a Cuivre River office and return it before the close of business Thursday, August 7. Absentee ballots may not be cast at the Annual Meeting. Cuivre River Electric Cooperative has released the Consolidated Financial Report, Balance Sheet and Statistical Report for 2013. The reported numbers for 2012 are included for comparative analysis. The Consolidated Financial Report incorporates the assets, liabilities, equity, income, expenses and cash flows of Cuivre River Electric Cooperative and presents this information according to International Accounting Standards. The report is taken from audited financial statements of Cuivre River Electric Cooperative as presented on March 27, 2014, to the Board of Directors by Botz, Deal & Company, PC, Certified Public Accountants.
