Youth Tour Delegates, Scholarship Recipients

Twelve finalists recently competed for Youth Tour delegate spots and scholarships during Cuivre River's 45th Annual Youth Tour Competition for high school juniors. They were chosen from 249 entries representing 19 local high schools. Will Lightning Strike Twice?

Dave and Tami Stanek of Millwood didn't take any chances on a second lightning strike. This year marks the 10th anniversary of a strike that caused $18,000 in damage at their NAPA Auto Parts store. “We got hit by lightning that came in on the telephone line,” Dave says.
