Annual Meeting Registration Cards Will Be Mailed July 6 — August 6
Manager of Finance and Accounting Susan Dollins asks members to watch for their registration cards beginning July 6.
Members who receive a paper bill will find their cards inserted with bills, which will be mailed at the normal billing time. The last set of bills and cards will go out August 6.
Members who have gone "paperless" for their bills will receive their cards in a special mailing.
Employees in Dollins' department oversee registration activities at the August 10 Annual Meeting at the Family Arena in St. Charles. They want to make sure everyone has the information they need, including a brief schedule and map to the meeting site.
Members who attend should bring the entire card as proof of their membership. The card expedites registration, the distribution of ballots, programs and meal tickets, and — most importantly for some — easy entry for attendance prizes.
"We want to make it as quick and easy as possible for members to get the materials they need," Dollins says.
When members enter the Family Arena, they'll find registration stations at each entrance, where tickets would normally be collected for other arena events. Food vending areas and beverage kiosks will be around every corner; voting stations and information booths will be available on each level.
"We have some great prizes this year," she adds. "We don't want anyone to miss out." Top three prizes* include: Free Electricity for One Year ($1,500 certificate), two $500 electricity certificates, and an iPad.
Additional monthly Free Electricity credits ($150 limit) will also be awarded, along with dozens of other prizes.
"When you bring your card you speed up the registration process," says Dollins. However, if you are missing a card, a duplicate card can be provided on site with proof of your membership, such as a recent electric bill.
The August Current Times will have extensive additional information for voters and meeting-goers. As details become available they will also be posted on www.cuivre.com.
