Power Restoration Plan: Getting You Back On Line
We have come to expect that if we lose electric service it will be restored within a few hours at most. But when a devastating event, like a tornado or high wind speeds, ice or snowstorm causes major damage to Cuivre River Electric Cooperative’s system, longer outages cannot be helped. Crews work long, hard hours restoring service, but it’s a task that needs to be done methodically to be done safely. Power Restoration Plan here...
Outage Tips
Here are several outage tips that may help you during a power outage. Outage Tips here...
Storm Damage Pictures
"Why did my power go out?" This is the first question our members ask when a power outage occurs. Words alone cannot explain the catastrophic effects when a major storm causes damage to Cuivre River Electric Cooperative’s system. "A picture is worth a thousand words..." We followed our member's advice and have taken numerous pictures documenting the extreme weather conditions, damaged equipment and our crews working long, hard hours restoring our member's electric service. See Storm Pictures here...
Current Weather Conditions
Cuivre River Electric Cooperative is dedicated to providing our members with the most current weather conditions and future forecast information. The information is provided by the National Weather Service and the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration. The current weather and 7-day forecast information for the CREC service area are generated using real time data. Just click on the link below for the current weather conditions and the 7-day forecast. Current Weather Conditions here...
