COMMUNICATION & MEDIA SPECIALIST
Cuivre River Electric Cooperative has an opening for a Communication & Media Specialist at our Troy location. This position will be responsible for maintaining the Cooperative’s website and all social media venues, preparing news releases and advertisements for traditional local media and social media, and producing employee publications. Other responsibilities include coordinating the Operation Round Up Program, annual Youth Leadership programs, along with other consumer public relations.
Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, or a related field strongly preferred. An Associate degree and two to five years of experience working in communications, website design and maintenance, traditional and social media, or public relations in a comparable position may be acceptable in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
3RD YEAR APPRENTICE LINEMEN
Cuivre River Electric Cooperative, Inc. is looking for three (3) 3rd Year Apprentice Linemen. The position will vary between our Lake St. Louis office and our Troy location until the candidate completes the apprentice program; job location after that may be bid on based on the needs of the Cooperative. This position has a starting pay of $35.50/hr. Candidates must have attended Lineman school, have a minimum of two years of experience working as a lineman, and be able to relocate within the Cooperative’s service area. Preferred Qualifications include having an Associate degree and relocation in proximity to one of the Cooperative offices.
