Cuivre River Electric Cooperative is committed to providing you, our members, with information and resources to help you get more from your energy dollar, as well as your Cuivre River membership. To aid us in this cause we use print, electronic and broadcast media, news releases, and community service messages.

Our website,, and our monthly newsletter, the Current Times/Rural Missouri are the key components of our member communication program.
The Current Times
Watch the Current Times for advice from a host of hometown energy experts who are always working for you behind the scenes. Each month we’ll hear from one of them in an in-depth “Ask the Energy Expert” column. We invite you to let us know if there’s an energy or cooperative topic you’d like us to address.
We also ask employees with a variety of different job duties — such as a lineman, mechanic or accounting supervisor — to provide some of their home-tested energy advice for the “Touchstone Energy® Tip of the Month” column. Your cooperative employees are great resources and we all welcome your questions.
The Current Times is printed in conjunction with the Rural Missouri, a statewide cooperative magazine equally committed to providing you with useful information.
The website provides instant access to e-bill payment and information, and brings forms, documents and energy education tools to your fingertips. We hope these are resources you value, and that you easily find information on the programs and services we provide for members and communities we serve.
Our home page pairs these resources with stories from the latest edition of the newsletter. We also archive copies of our Current Times on the website for your reference.
The Current Times and support our mission to communicate with you about the wise and efficient use of electricity and the unique experience of being a cooperative member.
Effective communication should travel both ways: to you from those of us who serve you at Cuivre River, and from you to us. We offer you these resources and we encourage your comments! Contact any member of your Communications Department staff:
